Fried Meat Dumplings

Cabbage250 g / 克 [or Bok Choy]
Minced pork150 g / 克
Green onion(s)1 pc [diced]
Water75 ml / 毫升

Premium Oyster Sauce

1 1/2 tbsp / 湯匙
Sesame Oil (Blended)
Sesame Oil (Blended)
1/2 tsp / 茶匙
Corn starch 1/2 tsp / 茶匙

Plain Flour 150 g / 克
Hot Water 75 ml / 毫升

For Serving

3 tbsp / 湯匙

  1. Marinate minced pork for 15 mintues.
  2. Cook cabbage in boiling water until tender.  Drain.  Chop into pieces and squeeze out water.
  3. Add cabbage and green onion to minced pork.  Divide filling into 12 equal portions.
  4. Sieve flour.  Add hot water to form a soft dough. Knead until smooth.
  5. Form dough into a roll and divide into 12 equal portions.  Roll each portion into a round.
  6. Wrap filling with round dough to form dumplings.
  7. Heat 2 tbsp oil.  Pan-fry dumplings over moderate heat until the bottom is golden yellow.  Pour in water, cover and cook on low heat until all water is absorbed, about 10 minutes.  Add 2 tsp oil and fry dumplings for 1 more minute.
  8. Serve with Lee Kum Kee Chili Bean Sauce
