Fried Prawns in Plum Sauce

Ingredients

Prawns400 g / 克 [meat, deveined and dried]
Corn starch1/2 cup / 杯 [for dusting]
Green onion(s) [shredded, for garnish]


Marinade
Salt 1/2 tsp / 茶匙

Sauce Mix
Plum Sauce
Plum Sauce
5 tbsp / 湯匙
Water 2 tbsp / 湯匙
Sugar 1 tbsp / 湯匙


Directions
  1. Mix prawns with marinade.
  2. Dust prawns in corn starch. Pan-fry in 4-6 tbsp oil or deep-fry until golden yellow and done. Drain.
  3. Heat 1 tbsp oil. Add sauce mix and heat through. Stir in fried prawns lightly. Garnish with shredded green onion.
